Hi, my name Rafael Kurzawski. I am 38 years old and started in April 2016 with Street and Lost Places photography. For me photography is a hobby. As already mentioned I started with photography in April 2016. Therefore, please excuse if some pictures are not really good. I am still learning the technique of photography. My Gear

Currently I am working with a Nikon D5300 Dx-Format. I am using two lenses. One is the AF-S DX Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G the second one is the AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G. Due to the fact that the D5300 has a Crop-Factor of 1.5 the lenses are almost perfect for street photography. Some people will ask why I did not buy a FX camera. Easy to answer. This is a new hobby and as I already said I am still learning. And I think everyone knows how it is like when you start a new hobby. You never know if you will stick to it. ☺

 

Why Street and Lost Places Photography

Some people already asked: Why Street Photography? I always liked to look at Street Photos. I think that this kind of photography performed in a candid way is one of the most fascinating Photo Art. What I like is the fact that you need to wander around with open eyes to find the next magic picture. You need to be quick to catch the moment. If you wait to long then you may loose the moment. You need to be in the right place at the right time. I think the street has a lot to tell. You just need to listen. And in case there are some days where you don't find the 'moment' you can always take pictures of different things.
